The Internet of everything

The applications of the semantic web seem to be pervasive and endless: using a washing machine, driving, meeting, dinner booking, searching for data on the internet, meeting customer needs more effectively etc. All of these activities fall in the scope of the semantic web. The web would not only be present on a PC or some portable handheld device, but also in nearly all imaginable electronic gadgets. It would provide an endless stream of communication between all our gadgets and could proceed to manage our activities.
