Kiev river beaches are great during summer

In summer we have beaches on river and lakes which are the best options for those who want to have a beach day without leaving the city. I invite you to come with me on tour. Kiev has a wide selection of beaches & Beach Clubs, located either inside the city (Hydropark) or towards the south (Maja4ok area). UBK Club (in Russian this abbreviator was used as the name for popular resort in Crimea (Southern Coast of Crimea), which has been recently modified to be a name for new club in Kiev – Southern Coast of Kiev) has become one of the cult places in Kiev for events and clubbing. It's a very nice place for partying on summer. Not expensive, beer is quite OK, music good :) And they have swimming pool on the roof

The beaches can be separated into two categories:
1.) free beaches where everybody can go, lay down and relax and
2.) Beach Clubs which take an entry fee but provide sun beds, some of them towels, F&B

Beaches of the 1st category can be found plenty, either normal or nudist, mostly. Bring your own towel, drinks and snacks and enjoy the sun and a swim in the Dnepro river (yes, no problem to swim inside, there're even fishes). Be aware that there aren't sanitary rooms etc., it's just wild beaches.

There're some Beach Clubs and the one to select very much depends on your pocket and style.

Approx. 20 km towards the South of Kiev is the Kiev Yacht Club, Maja4ok. There're two nice beach Clubs of one is "Maja4ok" Beach Club (don't mix with Maja4ok restaurant & Yacht Club which you'll pass first). Maja4ok is separated into two areas, a) standard at 100 Grivna/day with plastic sun beds and not too much space and b) the VIP area at 200 Grivna/day with much more space between the sun beds, shower, wooden sun beds... Maja4ok serves nice food, drinks at the beach. Maja4ok doesn't have a swimming pool at all - so there's no option to swimming in the Dnepro.
