Why most people will never be successful

When I speak of success, I don’t just speak of this in terms of money. Yes, there is a degree of finance to it but there are in fact, many people who have lots of money that lead very unsuccessful and radically imbalanced lives. I define success as continuously improving who you are, how you live, how you serve, and how you connect with others.

The reason why people become successful in all aspects of life is because they understand and have the drive to evolve, every single day. If you spend every single day developing yourself, your relationships, your heath, your business, you qualities — you become more evolved than others who don’t. The more evolved you become, the more focused you must be on the things in life that truly matter and thus successful things within your life will happen.

Doing this requires you to be proactive and not wait for life to just come to you. It means you’re on offense, not defense. You’re active, not passive. Just like the most powerful animals in our world are — you are capitalizing on your innate ability to develop your skills every single day and be active about it!

Just like in every business, there are a select few employees who would be difficult to replace. Most people are easily replaced. Most people are passive and reactive. They require specific instructions because they have not taken it upon themselves to actively become more evolved that those around them. They need to be governed and managed in all things and it is these people who will not become successful.

A lot of people are self-centered, greedy, shallow and too often unethical. So they focus on short-term measures. A sustainable successful future requires much more and a major requirement is strategic thinking. As a business person, strategic thinking and risk taking is part of the game. Taking risks will definitely give your brain a workout because it’s all about strategy. It also builds your logical thinking and decision-making skills because everything you do has consequences. As such, the ’cause and effect’ play is highly beneficial to building your intelligence. Problems may arise if you expand too fast, decide not to do something you are expected, etc. As such, you weigh up options logically and strategically, as well as deal with the potential fallouts of your decisions.
