Restaurant Ostrovo

The restaurant OSTROVO is located on the south east side of Ohrid Lake, on one of the two islands of the springs of the river Crn Drim near the monastery of St. Naum of Ohrid and is surrounded by the most picturesque nature in the wider region.
The Ostrov restaurant during the winter period offers a capacity of 90 people, with an additional 80 seats on the terrace, and during the spring and summer the whole island grows into a restaurant-garden with more than 500 seats for visitors.
In our restaurant you can enjoy the taste of Macedonian traditional food from the Ohrid region.
From our rich menu we recommend beans, snails, spinach pie, Ohrid gomoleze, sarma, many types of fish such as trout, eel, carp and sea fruits.
Boat ride
Very well known is the cruise with a boat 700 meters long springs of the mother of Ohrid Lake - the river Crn Drim. Of the 45 discovered sources, 30 are underwater. These sources are home to endemic flora and fauna such as algae with violet color and small water turtles that are specific and rare, and can be seen from June to October.
