The Cave Church St. Archangel Mihail (13th century)

In one of the most beautiful places on the western shore of Lake Ohrid, into the natural cave located above each other, high on the rock, onto the steep rock above the village Radozhda is the church dedicated to the military commander of Divine Forces – Archangel Michael, this church is one of the 4 cave churches in the Struga region. The biggest part of discovered frescoes date back to the 14th century, and particular remarkable is a fragment of the icon (13th century) presenting The Miracle in Hona, painted in honor of the benefactor to whom the church – St. Archangel Michael is also dedicated.
